For its first release, idioms presents Winter Studies, a collaboration between Polish producer Fischerle (Mateusz Wysocki) and Montréal-based producer Persuasion (Devon Hansen). Each with their own take on the traits of dub techno, the two artists came into contact over email one cold winter and decided to exchange assorted stems, reworking them over the course of several months. The result is a diverse melding of Wysocki's modular synthesis with Hansen's sound design and drum programming. It serves as the perfect inauguration for Hansen's label, with more collaborations to come.
